The In-Between Season...

It’s officially fall! Well, at least for a few days now…..while I cannot wait for the beginning of a new season, new routines and new fall habits to set in (rainy nights, sweaters worn permanently, and just all-around fall activities).

This post has nothing to do with educational in-sights; and everything to do with encouraging the in-between season activities.

This time of year, there seems to be a highten urge to transition. There is the complex lure of light scarfs and sandals, salad lunches and soup dinners and all the odd but seemingly perfect activities that go on in the fleeting weeks between summer and fall.

Such as the farmers market stands bursting with blueberries, zucchinis, and tomatoes and right next door a stall heaping with gourds, pumpkins, dahlias and mums. Soon, fall will be the overwhelming season – but not quite yet.

We still have time to mix some summer favorites with some fall classics; Especially sense it was 75 degrees in Seattle on the first official day of fall and I was sporting sandals and a swimsuit over jeans and boots.

 SO, here is your challenge:

What is going to be your mixed season activity this upcoming next couple weeks?!

Kayaking? (like I did last Wednesday). Or trail walking? Apple picking? Cider drinking? Sunbathing?... Anyhow, whatever it is – go out and enjoy the rays of this less intense summer sun. Take in the changing of the fall leaves and the beauty that surrounds you in the landscape that you call home!

Whether that is the golden fields of the Mid-West, the urban heart of a city or the tranquil setting of the forest – make this fall yours. And while you are enjoying all that life has to offer you - tag cjh.igc and show the world what you are capable of with LCHADD. And if are a friend, family member or curious follower from the greater worldwide web join in on the post. So lets inspire each other and share your "In-between Season" fun!
